The New Indian Expressइति समाचारपत्रिकायां 23-Apr-08दिनाङ्के प्रकाशितं "Mathoor is no sanskrit village" इति सशीर्षकवृत्तं पठनं अर्हति यस्मिन् भारतीयविद्याभवनस्य निर्देशकः मथूरु कृष्णमूर्तिमहोदयः वदति अस्मिन्‌ ग्रामे सर्वे संस्कृतं वदन्ति इति लब्धकीर्तौ मथूरुग्रामे संस्कृतभाषिणः न सन्त्येव।

तस्य उदाहरणं Bibleसंहितायाः आहृतं - "All Ephesians are liars" said an Ephesian इति।

It brings no shame to Sanskrit language even of there are no speaker of Sanskrit and it brings no glory even there are any speakers of the langauge in that village. It is a typical "Sanskrit Bharati" public imagination startegy that has pervaded ur mind and so u feel...only if there are speakers of Sanskrit it thrives else it dies. And all that discourse that is generated in the present-day Sanskrit is Denaturalised Sanskrit.

If a person is really intersted to know sanskrit should make an effort to learn it.By speaking two three sentences is not really great. After all sanskrit is also a language. There are many works in sanskrit which are worth to be read.
